  • kagent images are no longer held at 0.9.9. kagent.tag: "0.9.9" was still pinned in the meta-package values, overriding the wrapper chart and keeping kagent-controller and kagent-ui on 0.9.9 even though kagent-app has vendored upstream 0.9.12 since chart 0.1.32. The pin was a workaround for pulling the upstream chart directly via OCIRepository, where helm-controller appended the OCI digest to the chart version and + is illegal in an image tag; now that kagent-app vendors the upstream chart as a subchart, its .Chart.Version stays clean and the upstream tag coalesce resolves correctly on its own.
  • The example customer BOM pinned kagent to versionRange: "0.9.9", a version the wrapper chart never publishes (kagent-app ships 0.1.x), so the example could not resolve. Pinned to 0.1.33.
